An Artistic Encounter Centered on Education and Youth

As an extension of the Özyeğin University and Hüsnü Özyeğin Foundation ecosystems, Özyeğin Philharmonic supports artistic education and professional development while encouraging interdisciplinary learning. Through campus concerts, masterclasses, workshops and symposia, it aims to make classical music an integral part of the University’s learning environment. As part of the University’s Artist in Residence program, Artistic Director Fazıl Say will contribute to and lead these initiatives.

The project seeks to position students and faculty not only as audiences for the arts, but also as active creators, performers and participants in the cultural life of the campus. Through music scholarships and fellowship programs, the Hüsnü Özyeğin Foundation will support emerging professional musicians as they build their careers.

Hüsnü Özyeğin Foundation / Özyeğin University

Established in 1990, the Hüsnü Özyeğin Foundation contributes to social and economic development through 65 social investments, primarily focused on education, alongside its scholarship and youth support programs.

Founded by the Foundation, Özyeğin University pursues initiatives that create social value in line with its vision of becoming an entrepreneurial research university with significant global impact. With equality of opportunity at the heart of their work, the Foundation and the University continue to broaden their investment in arts and culture through new initiatives that foster education, creativity and cultural exchange. Within this framework, Özyeğin Philharmonic was established through the vision of Hüsnü Özyeğin, Founder and Honorary Chairman, as the cultural expression of Özyeğin’s approach to social investment.
