Orchestra

With an ensemble bringing together accomplished musicians from different generations and a wide-ranging repertoire, the Özyeğin Philharmonic Orchestra aims to present a series of thematic concerts each season. Exploring defining issues of our time, including peace, climate, youth and intercultural interaction, the artistic vision and programming of these concerts are shaped by the Orchestra’s Artistic Director, internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Fazıl Say.

Throughout the season, leading artists, conductors and soloists from around the world contribute to this long-term cultural initiative through concerts, events and educational programs. By sharing the stage with established musicians, emerging Turkish artists gain valuable experience that supports their artistic development and strengthens their professional careers.

The Özyeğin Philharmonic Orchestra sets out to contribute to the development of Türkiye’s emerging classical music talent while establishing itself as an ensemble recognized for its artistic integrity, depth, openness to innovation and international calibers.
